:)I don't have a hooded hair dryer..can i use a blow dryer instead?
Definitely! Put it on a warm setting. Concentrate on each roller. It takes a long time to completely dry the hair on a roller. It also depends on the length of your hair and how many times it was wrapped around the roller. You can do a spot check on one to see if it is completely dry. If it isn't, just re-wrap it and blow dry again. Do another spot check using another roller. Don't forget to use some kind of product in your hair.

  • Blow dryer versus hooded hair dryer?

Why is it when I blow dry my hair with a blow dryer each hair is thick and damaged looking. Afterwards, I have to use a flat iron to get the desired look. Then when I use a hooded dryer the hair is bouncy thin and healthy looking? Blow dryer versus hooded hair dryer?
A blow dryer tends to send out way too much heat and it depends on which setting and attachment you have on the blow dryer which causes damage. You have to use a heat protectant when you blow dry your hair, if not you will get the puffy thick and damage look and feel. With the hair dryer it blows out heat but not directly on the hair and you don't need an attachment to comb your hair out as it drys. Try not to use too much heat because it will cause breakage.

Im not a fan of babyliss, I love the new nicky clark ones or tresemme ones, make sure that it is at least 2000 watts with 3 heat settings. I like power in my hairdryer.Babybliss hood hair dryer?
Babyliss is a good brand, I have used the flat irons from Babyliss. So I would think it would be good.
any hairdryer with 2000-2500 watts is good. (should state it on the box)

How do i fix my gold and hot hooded hair dryer?

I was using it one day and all of a sudden it would not work any more what could be wrong are can you tell me were to get it fixed atHow do i fix my gold and hot hooded hair dryer?
It comes with a 1 year warranty, but you have to have the reciept. If you bought it over a year ago, it's too late. Maybe it's over heated, or the electrical socket isn't working anymore. I suggest you take it back to the place where you got it and tell them your situation so they can fix it or...Sell it on craigslist.org. Make sure to tell them it needs repair...Collect the money and buy a new one.

    -Hope I helped.

What is the best type of hooded hair dryer?

I am thinking about buying either a hard or soft type hooded hair dryer to dry my roller sets

Please note the dryer will need to be big enough to accomodate jumbo sized rollers as i sometimes set my hair in themWhat is the best type of hooded hair dryer?
Sally's beauty supply carries a soft hood dryer that will accommodate lg rollers, the hard hood dryers the accommodate the lg roller can be very expensive but if price is not an issue i would recommend a hard dryer you can place them behind any chair they work great for deep conditioning where as the soft dryer can be very hard to clean. Check you local papers sometimes you can find used dryers from salons going out of business or check with your local salon as to where to get used ones at a better price.

I sit under a hood hair dryer everyday on low heat for a half hour to dry my very curly hair.?

Is that too damaging to do everyday? I do it because my hair looks awful when I wake up and I find it looks half way decent if I dry it this way. I have fine, light colored treated hair. I just rinse it in the shower with conditioner to get tangles out and wash it 2 days a week. Thanx for any hair advise I can get. CURLY HAIR STINKS!!! :)I sit under a hood hair dryer everyday on low heat for a half hour to dry my very curly hair.?
Of course it's damaging your hair, it's unatural heat being set upon your hair everyday and because your hair is curly its very

susceptible to any kind of damage.

If you brush your hair before you wash it and then again while its damp and just leave it to dry itself then it won't tangle as much.

Trust me my hair is about as curly as you can get.I sit under a hood hair dryer everyday on low heat for a half hour to dry my very curly hair.?
I am not really sure where you live, but you can get an anti frizz serem at sallys beauty supply. Apply it after your done in the shower and let your hair air dry. It will be better in a few days. and yes it is too much stress on your air. Air drying this way will make it smooth and grow faster.
I wouldn't think it would be too damaging at all. Just use plenty of conditioner on the ends and keep it on a low setting.
